Yuncheng International Guangong Culture Festival Was Grandly Held

Comprehensive news of World Guangong Culture Website: on September 13, the 21th China Yuncheng International Guangong Culture Tourism Festival “Worship in Golden Autumn” for Guandi was held in the Guandi Temple of Xiezhou. 
At nine a.m., in the song of “Chinese Martialist”, “Worship in Golden Autumn” started formally in front of the Guandi Temple. The worship included public sacrifice, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism worshiping Guangong together and folk worship. The whole worship activity scene was carpeted by neat red carpet. Below the stage, the distinguished guests wearing yellow imperial scarf were dignified. They held their breath and stood a long time. The atmosphere was solemn and serene.

The World Guangong Culture Promotion Association, Taiwan Guangong Culture Cross-straits Communication Promotion Association, Hongkong Daming Group, congregation of Taibei, Yilan, Jiayi, Xinzhu of Taiwan, Guandi temple group of Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, Liaoling, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Fujian and Yunnan of the mainland and congregation of Wenlai and Singapore gathered in Xiezhou to worship Guandi.
The antique sacrifice activity combined the folk sacrifice tradition of Yuncheng, and learned from the forefathers’ comprehensive arrangement on worship. The dance also followed the example of “virtue dance” and “martial dance” of Ming dynasty.
In the evening of September 12, the opening ceremony of the World Guangong Culture Tourism Festival was grandly held in Yuncheng Museum, where was ablaze with lights. The day was also the 10th anniversary of the city Yuncheng. The provincial party committee member and director of the Department of Publicity Hu Suping announced the opening of Culture Festival. Famous Singer Chen Yongfeng, Yu Wenhua and Han Lei also arrived to add to the fun.
