Guandi Culture Festival Across The Taiwan Strait Was Grandly Held in Dongshan Island

Comprehensive news of World Guangong Culture Promotion Association: on the forenoon of June, 24, the 19th Guandi Culture Festival Across The Taiwan Strait was grandly held in Dongshan Island of Fujian province. Vice chairman of CPPCC Zhang Kehui and other person attended the opening ceremony. The Guandi congregation, temple representatives, countrymen residing abroad, representatives of chamber of commerce and Dongshan populace across the Taiwan strait participated in the ceremony, which amounts to 3000 people. The World Guangong Culture Promotion Association also sent group to attend the ceremony.

Taiwan government officials highly valued the activity. Honorary chairman of Nationalist Party of China Lian Zhan and Wu Boxiong, vice chairman Lin Fengzheng and president of Taiwan Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Liao Zhenghao inscribed congratulation plaques for the activity. The president of Taiwan Legislature Wang Jinping also sent congratulations “favoring people” to the activity. 
Guandi Culture Tourism Festival has been held for 19 times in succession, and is highly concerned by the people across the Taiwan strait and global Chinese. During the Guandi Culture Tourism Festival, thousands of Guandi congregation populace participated in a series of economics and culture tourism activities, such as culture parade, seminar on Guandi Culture across the Taiwan strait, strait fireworks party and exposition of Fujian and Taiwan aquatic product etc.
