Lei Zhenhuan donated scholarships to Yangtze University

World Guangong Culture news: the donation ceremony of "Guan Gong Culture Bowei scholarship” was held at the University of the Yangtze in the morning of September 17th.  

Lei Zhenhuan, consultant of Temple of Guan Yu in New York of US, chairman of World Guan Gong Culture Promotion Association in Hong Kong, Liu Aidang, Secretary-General of Hubei Overseas Friendship Association, Zhu Zhengming and Li Zihua , the Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Overseas Friendship Association, Zhu Lifang, officer of World Guan Gong Culture Promotion Association, Wang Congbing, vice-minister of the United Front Work Department of the Jingzhou municipal Party committee and over 30 teacher and student representatives of Yangtze University participated in the donation ceremony.

Lei Zhenhuan learned that minority students of Yangtze University were lived in reduced circumstances, in order to encourage the outstanding students of Yangtze University study hard and all-round development, he came to the Yangtze University once again and donated 130,000 yuan of scholarships to the 30 outstanding poor students of the University, and held grand donation ceremony. Zhu Yehong, deputy secretary of the party committee of Yangtze University accepted the donation from Mr. Lei Zhenhuan and expressed his thanks.

It is known that Lei Zhenhuan has donated 120,000 yuan scholarships to the poor students of Yangtze University for twice. Lei Zhenhuan said, these contemporary college students will be the pillars for the construction of the motherland, we should provide them with an excellent learning environment.

After the donation ceremony of "Guan Gong Culture Bowei scholarship”, at about 10 am, Lei Zhenhuan and his team worshipped the temple of Guan Yu in Jingzhou and gifted Tibet Guan Gong Thang-ka.

Lei Zhenhuan has been committed to promoting World Guan Gong culture and had a strong feeling for Jingzhou. Every autumn, he would go to Jingzhou to attend the Guan Gong Culture Festival, he said, "Guan Gong culture has already become the link for connecting Chinese both at home and abroad and the highlight for promoting economic development in Guan Gong hometown and ancient battlefield of three kingdoms, it also became an important part of Chinese culture."

Lei Zhenhuan thought people should treat each other sincerely, it was the true meaning of Duke Guan spirit in modern society.
