Jingzhou, Hubei Province: Exhibited earliest Guan Gong statue

World Guangong Culture news: Guan Gong Culture Exhibition which was one of the activities of China Jingzhou International Guan Gong Culture Forum was held in the temple of Guan Yu in the ancient city of Jingzhou in mid-June. The earliest statue of Guan Gong made the visitors stop for long time.

Precious Guan Gong statue in the Northern Song Dynasty

In order to perfect the exhibition, Liu Yudong, the responsible person of the temple of Guan Yu specially took this precious statue of Guan Gong in the Northern Song Dynasty from the Jingzhou Museum. The 66-year-old of Mr. Liu Yudong was also the organizer of Guan Gong culture exhibition. He divided the entire hall into upper and lower layers, the pictures talking about Guan Gong story were the works before the nineties; He also collected Guan Gong wood carving, jade carving, bamboo carving, egg carving and other different Guan Gong icons, the rich exhibits let visitors feast their eyes.
