Maiden Flight of “Guan Gong” Cruise Liner in QingJiang River of Hubei Province
World Guangong Culture Net News: on November 6, 2009, maiden flight celebration of the first global “Guan Gong” Cruise Liner invested and built by Beijing Yanshanhong Culture Group and the initiation ritual of “Guan Gong Culture Going to the World” were held in Wuhan City. Vice president of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and central executive chairman of Farmer-Labor Party Chen Zongxing wrote an inscription for this campaign “Loyalty and Braveness, Moral Model”. Vice secretary general of CPPCC Sun Huaishan wrote an inscription “Guan Gong Culture, Harmonious Culture”.
“Guan Gong” is the first touring ship named with “Guan Gong” in the world. The liner, 39.98 meters long, 8 meters wide, and 6 meters high, has three floors and gathers sightseeing, exhibition, business conference and dining as one unity. The first floor of the liner exhibits the world Guandi culture pictures taken by famous photographer Mr. Zhu Zhengming who spent 26 years and walked 280000 kilometers, silhouettes of “Guan Gong Culture Going to the World” large series of activity, etc. The second floor displays over one hundred “Guan Gong theme” Chinese paintings created by member of the national committee of CPPCC and “Guan Gong” ambassador Wang Guoxin, and it can be rated as traveling “ Guandi Culture Art Gallery” ; moreover, it is hailed by media as “Traditional Art Boat”.
On November 18, “Guan Gong” cruise liner started sailing formerly in Qingjiang River of Changyang County, Hubei Province.
