Inherit Loyalty and Benevolence: Traditional Chinese Version of Walking Across the World to Visit Guangong Released in Hong Kong
News from World Guangong Culture Net: According to July 12th news from the China News Service Wuhan (Reporter Ai Qiping), the traditional Chinese Version of Walking Across the World to Visit Guangong written by Zhu Zhengming, a scholar of Guangong culture, has been released in Hong Kong.
Traditional Chinese Version of Walking Across the World to Visit Guangong
Zhu Zhengming was the former director of the Overseas Center of the United Front Work Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and was hired as an expert advisor to the Guangong Cultural Fund under the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. After the issuing the overseas edition and the Taiwan edition of Guangong culture works, he released a more comprehensive and refined traditional edition in Hong Kong.
The new book tells the story of Chinese photographer Zhu Zhengming’s experiences of five trips to the United States, seven trips to Africa, eight trips to the Taiwan Strait, and fifteen trips to Tibet, leaving his footprints in more than 40 countries and regions on five continents during 37 years so as to seek and spread legendary stories about Chinese Guangong. The traditional Chinese version released in Hong Kong has about 320,000 characters and more than 590 precious pictures. With the blue sky as the background color, the picture named Guangong from Five Continents Gathered at the Mount Everest is particularly eye-catching. The eleventh Panchen master wrote the title of the book, and Mr. Hu Deping wrote the preface.

This year marks the 1800th anniversary of Guangong’s righteous cause. The Guangong Cultural Fund under the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles will promote the installation of a statue of Guangong in the ancient battlefield of Dangyang, Hubei to commemorate this Chinese hero. The Guangong Cultural Fund has also promoted the publication of the new book Walking across the World to Visit Guangong and distributed it all over the world.
