Taoyuan, Taiwan: the tour of the ancient temple icon ended grandly
Comprehensive news: On the morning of April 17, the activity named “Two Shores’ Guan Gong Culture Tour Ceremony—Shanxi Guan Gong Temple Icon Tour” ended successfully and a grand ceremony was held in the Minglun Three Saints Palace located in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and vice-governor Du Shanxue, the chairman of Yuncheng CPPCC, Chai Linshan and the responsible officers of the Shanxi related departments and bureaus attended the closing ceremony. Over 1500 people including the chairman of Taiwan’s SEF, Lin Zhongsen, The Taoyuan County Wu Zhiyang, the president of the Taiwan Chinese Taoism Guan DiCulture Preaching Association, Chen Zhansong and the president of Kaohsiung Journalist Union Ma Daoming as well as the local people took part in the closing ceremony.

The activity lasted for 21 days and it’s a communicative pageant lasting longest, having the highest standard and biggest scope with the largest number people participated in. The honorary chairman of Kuomintang, Lian Zhan, the vice-president of Kuomintang, Lin Zhengfeng, the chairman of SEF, Lin Zhongsen, the responsible officer of the Taiwan Public Opinion Agency, Wang Jinping, “Councilor” Yang Qiuxing, “Interior Minister” Li Hongyuan, the mayor of Taibei Hao Longbin, the mayor of New Taibei Zhu Lilun, the speaker of Kaohsiung “Parliament”, Xu Kunyuan, the representative of the public opinions, Lu Jiachen and other guests attended the related activities successively.
