World Guangong Culture News: At 11:00 on May 6, 2014, Qomolangma Guandi Temple groundbreaking ceremony was grandly held on the Ganggar Mount, Dingri County, Tibet.
The Ganggar Mount, south of State Road 318, is 4390 meters above sea level, with the world’s highest Mt Everest, Mt Cho Oyu, Mt Shishapangma on its southeast. They stand tall between the snow land and the blue sky, pure and holy!
In the world’s highest Qomolangma Guandi Temple under construction, the hall demonstrates a blend between Tibetan and Chinese with red walls and yellow tiles, carved beams and painted rafters and dragon’s head high in the air. And it will tower above the snow-capped Ganggar Mount. The construction area of the hall is 880 m2 and its inner height 440 m2, forming the four figures of “8844” – exactly the height of Mt Everest. And this was decided by Dingri County Magistrate Wang Shen after soliciting opinions from various experts and scholars of Tibetan and Han nationalities at home and friends abroad. The hall of Qomolangma Guandi Temple was funded by Deyuan Group (Shenyang).
It was reported that after the completion of the hall, there will be further construction of the square, gate, chapel and side halls of Qomolangma Guandi Temple and Tibet Guandi Culture Exhibition Hall under the promotion of the local government and friends at home and abroad.
