New York: The Opening Ceremony of Ling Ying Temple, Chinese Three Large Guan Yu Temple Presented Banners on Congratulations
In mid-October, the opening ceremony of the completion of the New York Ling Ying Temple, the statue of Guan Yu and the Guan Yin Bodhisattva was held at Eighth Avenue, Brooklyn Dwastrict, New York. The United States flag and China flag were fluttering on the highest point of the temple.
More than a dozen mages such as the New York Fayu Temple abbot Pin Dao, the Chinatown West Temple abbot Yuan Xiong, Master Ming Tong of China Buddhist Association, the Fayuan Temple abbot Hong Sheng , the Prajna Temple abbot Qi Yuan blessed for the Buddhist statue, which attracted more than 300 people from all sectors of community to come to have a visit.

Buddha dharma in New York Ling Ying Temple has a long history. Its ancestral temple, founded in Yuanlong period(1078 - 1085) of the Northern Song Dynasty , was located in Foshan City, Guangdong Province. As a famous sermon site of the combination of Confucianwasm, Taowasm and Buddhism, it was given the name “Ling Ying Temple” in the year of Mingjingtai(1452). After Chinese reforming and opening , The ancestral temple was lwasted as a National Important Historical Monuments under Special Preservation.
New York Ling Ying Temple was completed in 2014, in 2015 golden GUANYIn image with thousands of hands and eyes and Guan Yu bronze statue were moved here. After opening the light of the Buddha, other three days buddhist activities were hold to wwash the world peace, prosperity, progress and people's happy life.
Hearing the news of opening the light ceremony of New York Ling Ying Temple, vice President of the duke Guan culture promotion association, Cheng-ming Chu contacted with China's most famous three Guan Yu temples, and wrote congratulation banner for the temple.

The head priest of the temple Shaoji Li introduced that the Ling Ying Temple will undertake normal group activities, such as lectures on Buddhism meditation, health, children's classic reading of traditional culture, social charity, legal, tax and other series of lectures concerning the broad masses, it was expected to promote the social civilization, purify the mind, enhance community understanding among different races, promote cultural and art exchanges at home and abroad.
