Yulin in northern Shaanxi province：Zhu Zhengming visited the Guan Yu cultural landscape along the Great Wall
According to the news of the China News Service: the World Guan Gong Cultural experts and photographer Zhu Zhengming, made a special trip to Yulin in northern Shaanxi province in mid-September to search and spread the Guan Yu culture.
Yulin in northern Shaanxi province is a strategic town to China’s Great Wall. Yulin great wall extends hundreds of kilometers and there are more than 200 beacon towers. Zhen Beitai, known as the three wonders of great wall, is located in the northern suburbs of Yulin City. Seventy years ago, Mao Zedong here recited the poem of ages quoted as “look inside and outside the Great Wall, what only can see is the boundless space”
Due to the official promotion and folk beliefs, worship to Guan Yu is flourishing with the presence of border guards in Yulin. Sanyi temple was first built at five years under the rein of Hongzhi in Ming dynasty (1492), with the continuous expansion of the ancient city of Yulin, Guan Yu Temple was built at the four sides of Yulin. Guan temple was almost built for the 36 military castles along the Ming Great walls within Yulin territory, not even to say the counties and villages. According to the latest statistics of Guangong culture research institute in Yulin city, 286 temples with different size still are existed in the city.

It is designed to make Guan Yu temple in Yulin Dongshan and Guan Yu temple in Fujian Dongshan become friendly units discussed by Zhu Zhengming and local government to promote the exchanges and development on Guangong culture between coastal and inland regions.
