Olympic torch relayed in Guangong’s hometown—Yuncheng, and the beautiful girls’ dance show raised passion in the air

At 8:15 on June 25, the torch of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games started to be relayed in Yuncheng city, Shanxiprovince, which is the hometown of Guang Yu, the famous general of Shu Han Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period. The relay station of Yuncheng is the first one in Shanxi province.

The starting point of Yuncheng relay station is set up in Nafeng Square.Before the the relay starting ceremony, the Yuncheng city residents give the rich and colorful theatrical performance ,such as “Guandi Heroic Style” performed by 100- people team with traditional Chinese percussion instruments gong and drum, “ Heroic Style of martial art” with 100-people performing the martial art swordplay, “24-movement of Taijiquan” performed by 100-people, the large-scale gymnastics called “One World, One Dream” performed by 200-people,the singing performed by the famous singers etc. The whole performance activities radiates the extraordinary splendors and fully revealed the mental outlook to greet the Olympic Games.
