Cao Cao Tomb Was Discovered in Anyang, Henan
World Guangong Culture Net News: in the morning of December 27, 2009, Cao Cao Tomb Archaeological Findings Press Conference was held in Beijing. Reporters learned that Cao Cao tomb was located at Gaoxue Village, Anfeng Town, Anyang County, Henan Province. Thus, the eternal riddle was finally solved about where was Cao Cao tomb on earth.
Cao Cao tomb, which is of high standard, is a soil pit style cubiculum made of tiles and bricks with a shape of Chinese character "中", and is divided into anteroom and backroom. There is a corridor in the middle to connect the anteroom and backroom. The tops of anteroom and backroom are four-corner pyramidal roof and the corridor is a brick vaulting. There is an auriculo-ventricular on the east and west sides of anteroom and backroom respectively. The deepest point of the two rooms is 16 meters far away from the ground, so it is a typical deeply-buried tomb. The dromos is 35 meter long and 9.6 meters wide, and is staircase adduction.
This tomb has gold, silver and bronze wares, potteries and weapons unearthed. However, among these unearthed cultural relics, the stone board “the spurge that King of Wei Cao Cao often used to fight tiger” excited experts most.
