Tingri County of Tibet: Completion Ceremony of the World's Highest Everest Guandi Tempel
www.guangong.hk News: On August 27th, the sun shined again after the rain, white clouds massed and scattered, the snow peak was pure, and the whole day was full of good luck.
On this day, the peak of the Gangga Mount of the Tingri County at the foot of Everest was all around with the flying colorful flags and resounding with the gongs and drums. Hundreds of Tibetans were waving the national flags, gathering in the Everest Guandi Temple Square. The completion ceremony of the world's highest Everest Guandi Temple was grandly held here.
Distinguished guests at home and abroad entered the Everest Nature Reserve, carrying out the banner of "Travel Around The World To Visit Guangong" at the pass of Mount Jiacuola of more than 5200 meters. (Photographed by Zhuoma)

The leaders of the CPPCC and the Tibet Autonomous Region -- Yang Song, Deputy Director-General of the CPPCC Committee of Population Resources and Environment, Zhang Yanqing, Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region Government and Secretary of the Shigatse municipal party committee, and Wang Yalin, Vice Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region and Party Secretary of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, attended the celebration.
The overseas guests came all the way to the foot of the Everest.

The Guandi Temple stands majestically on the peak of the Mount Gangga on the south side of the 318 national road. The mountain altitude is 4398 meters above sea level with the height of the great hall of 33 meters. The overall altitude is 4431 meters, with the red wall and copper tile, and resplendence covering all the golden summit. The temple enshrines Guangong, Guan Ping, Zhou Cang, Tibetan Hero King Gesar and other two grand generals, sacred and solemn.
